You can make this pretty and becoming little pull-on hat for under half-a-crown, and it will prove a very useful addition to your wardrobe. It has a small adaptable brim which should please you if you find the cheeky little brimless caps rather trying to wear. The edge is stiffened with millinery wire, which enables it to be adjusted to the most becoming shape.

MATERIALS: three one-ounce skeins of black artificial silk twist for a medium-sized hat. You will need also a steel crochet hook (No. 10) and a reel of black millinery wire.
