Here’s another easy cloth I love to make. There’s lots of this pattern out and about, but this is the right size for me. Worked with a US size 7 (4.5 mm) hook, it measures 8” square.
The possibilities are endless with this pattern. I’ve made mostly dishcloths, but a 10 year old girl has made cloths, coasters and scarves. It’s a simple and pretty pattern that you could make small baby blankets and afghans big enough to fit king-size beds. Make squares and piece the blocks together for something extra special.
This pattern is especially fun to try variegated yarn on.
