The inspiration for this piece came after the rains had stopped and I saw the sun light filter down through one of the trees in my yard. The way the shadows and light hit the ground was a wonderous sight and I had to capture it forever in yarn. The shawl is constructed from a fingering weight yarn so it is light weight and perfect for those afternoon strolls in your garden, sitting and reading a book, or enjoying those cool summer nights.
