This is a 3-in-1 pattern that includes the following variations:

  • Option 1: Luxury Wrap
  • Option 2: Simple Lace Scarf
  • Option 3: Garden Cowl

This was the Coldwater Collaborative pattern for the Twin Cities’ 2010 April Showers Bring Yarn Flowers shop hop.

From the designer’s notes:

These patterns are all based on an old favorite – Feather and Fan lace. The first combines a hand-dyed luxury merino/cashmere blend with a featherweight kid mohair and silk yarn in two different colors for a light springtime wrap. The second uses the hand dyed yarn alone to create a simple scarf. Both the wrap and the scarf are knit lengthwise so the ripples of the lace pattern extend the full length of the piece. Finally, as a third alternative, we offer a circular cowl, also knit with the hand dyed yarn alone, which can also be pulled over the head to keep those chilly lake breezes at bay. Enjoy!
