This is just my fussy way of making the old-fashioned, knitted from corner to corner washcloth more square. The pattern calls for seed stitch but you can make it in garter stitch, too. This is for people who want all the corners of the cloth to be the same. The traditional cloth (where cast on 4 stitches) does not really have four, equal corners.
