Pattern Description from Victorian Lace Today: “Miss Watt’s edging can be any size, so I enlarged it until it became a triangular fichu - a shape that was fashionable around 1840. This wide, shallow triangle can be tied in a knot and worn at the shoulder, the hip, or any way you wish. A knot picot edging with a bead knitted into every third picot adds a bit of weight and style.”
