If you’re looking for a casual hat to keep you very warm, you have found the one! Aada is knitted from double yarn, so it’s double as warm and sure to keep it’s shape!

Aada is a unisex design that suits women, men and children. It also comes with different sizes. So you can make one for yourself and as many as you like to your beloved ones!

Aada hat is perfect for everyday use, also for winter sports that don’t require a helmet. If you want to use it with a helmet, just make it without the pompom. It will work perfectly without it, too.

The design is a combination of my signature 2×2 rib knit and cable knit. As this hat is made from the double yarn, it is not wavy stretchy, so follow the sizing options and choose the correct size. Everything is very clearly explained in the instructions and you will have your hat ready in no time!

Aada hat is worked in the round from the brim up holding two strands of yarn together.

1) Toddler (48 cm), 2) Child (53 cm), 3) Adult S-M (56-58 cm), 4) Adult L-XL (58-60 cm)

Yarn
100 g of DK yarn of your choise. I used 2 balls of Nordic Yarn’s Eco Cashmere (50% Recycled Cashmere, 50% Virgin Cashmere; 150 m/ 164 yds per 50 g). Sample shown is knited of Nordic Yarn DK Eco Cashmere, colourway Salla.

4 mm/US 6 and 6 mm/US 10 double-pointed needles or needle size to obtain gauge

Gauge
17 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in stockinette stitches with needles no 4mm /US 6
