What am I missing?
Aase's Shawl
Dedicated to my Aunt Aase in Norway.
A wavy pattern reminiscent of the waters of the fjords of Norway, a lacy border pattern short or full, accent this crescent shaped shawl. Sparkling beads are like the sun on the rippling waters.
Latest Update sent on 7/2/11 and should match the last update sent on 6/18/11 which included:
1. Changes in the edge sts to create a much more flexible and relaxed top edge to the shawl!! All Charts & Written
2. item 4, page 2 AND Page 6! should read “RS=K2T, YO, K1, YO, SSK, Knit to last 5 sts(not 4), K2T, YO, K1, YO, SSK ; WS=Knit ”
3. Written instructions for garter st tab to equal 9 sts not 11; first 2 rows ending in 13 sts not 15; ending sts after Setup Row = 19 not 21
4. Body of Shawl Written only: There was an extra k1,yo at the beginning of the row and has been taken out.
…..pdf Sent to all Buyers!
Additional ERRATA not sent out yet: Total Stitch count on page 2, item 3 should read: Small 187; Medium 211; Large 235; X-Large 259
Gauge is important for measurements and yarn requirements listed in the pattern. If you choose to just go with the flow of your shawl, make sure you have at least 20% more than the pattern calls for, for your size.
Both written row by row instructions and charts are included in the pattern along with some helpful Designer’s Tips.
Beads are optional, of course, and instructions for substituting nupps are also included.
Slight correction on measurements on page 1. Medium should read “63x21/64x22”.
You are always welcome to pm me with any question(s) you may have. I am regularly available on Ravelry as 53Chevy =D
