Running from the Pandosy Village, across Mill Creek, and into downtown, Kelowna’s Abbott Street Corridor is one of the city’s oldest and most eclectic neighbourhoods, boasting rustic bridges, sandy beaches, and unique heritage houses.

Worked mostly in stockinette, this simple, seamless pullover is a delight to make and wear. Purl ridges add interest and texture while slip stitch columns over a background of reverse stockinette flow down the arms.

Abbott is knit top-down with raglan increases: casting on at the neck, working yoke and body, and then finishing with the sleeves.

| SAMPLES |

Cropped sample (yellow sweater) is shown in size 2 with 15% (6” / 15cm) of negative ease. Classic sample (grey sweater) is shown in size 3 with 5% (2” / 5cm) of negative ease.

| SIZING |

1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9)

Sizing is based on finished chest circumference, allowing for you to choose your sized based on your preferred ease. For a fitted top, choose a size 5-15% smaller than your chest circumference (measured around the widest area of your chest). For a modern, oversized top, choose a size 5-15% larger than your chest circumference. Some sizes have the same sleeve circumference (measured around the widest part of your bicep), so if you are between sizes, you may want to take that measurement into account. Sleeve length and body length are both easily adjustable for a cropped or classic version, with instructions given for both. The cropped sweater is designed to fall slightly below your natural waist, with 3/4 length sleeves. The classic sweater is designed to fall slightly below your hips, with full length sleeves.

As with all our designs, pattern support is happily included. If you have any questions about choosing a size or making adjustments, please send us an email or private message!
