We all know this song. It’s part of our introduction to primary school and the English language. We know it by heart . I can remember my teacher pointing to the letters on the chalkboard as we sang along with this easily remembered song. Are you singing it yet?

The song was first copyrighted in 1835 with the music based on a Mozart variation for piano. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Baa Baa Black Sheep have the same tune!

ABC socks are knit using an easily remember slipped stitch pattern. They are knit from cuff to toe with a heel flap and inverted gusset. My inspiration came from the yarn! Written and charted instructions are included.

I strongly recommend trying the Leelanau yarn from Washtenaw Wool Co. You won’t be disappointed!

These socks are fun and quick to knit with all the slipped stitches!
