Acacia's Socks by Allison Lake

Acacia's Socks

This pattern is available for free.

Made these socks for my cousin per her request. I had given her older sister a pair of socks I made that was not going to fit anyone in my immediate family. She got jealous and asked me to make her a pair of socks too.

Note about sizing: I only have 2 sizes written (child and adult) but this pattern is easily customizable to fit any size foot. The pattern stitch is a repeat of only 4 stitches so you can easily adjust the size by adding or decreasing stitches in multiples of 4. I only placed the pattern stitch on the leg, but this sock will look just as good (maybe better) with the pattern on the instep as well.

Also, I did not include a gauge, and I am so sorry about that!! I worked to my cousin’s foot measurements (her foot at the time was about 6” long and I made the sock about 3” wide) and added the adult size based on the stitch count and needle size I would make for my own socks (I wear a women’s 9 1/2 to 10, but any socks I make for me will just as easily fit my mom who wears size 8)
