This is a very easy to make afghan square and the joy of the pattern is you can continue to working the pattern repeats to make a blanket in any size; with any of your favorite yarns.
This pattern includes 2 written patterns for my Across the Square Granny Square.

The first pattern is written for using a single ball of yarn and the second pattern is written for color changes being made after every round.

Pattern 1 was crocheted using Red Heart Super Saver Ombre yarn.
Pattern 2 was crocheted using Red Heart Super Saver O’Go yarn.

The Across the Square Baby Blanket was crocheted using Super Bulky Weight yarn (Bernat Forever Fleece) and a 9 mm (M/N) crochet hook.
