Fun constructions make for fun knits!
Across is – as it’s name suggests – worked across from cuff to cuff. First stitches are cast on for the right cuff, then the sleeve is worked to the body, increasing along the way to shape the sleeve. Additional stitches are added for the body, which then is worked flat until the neck opening. The stitches are then divided into the front and the back, each worked separately, before the two portions are joined again and the process is reversed all the way to reaching the left cuff.

Yarn: Eden Cottage Yarns Tempo DK (75% Wool, 25% Nylon), DK weight, 224 meters / 245 yards per 100g, 4-5-5-5-6-6 skeins.
Colorway: “Hydrangea”

Needles: 4 mm / US 6 circulars, 80 cm / 32 inches.
3,5 mm / US 4 circulars for Magic Loop method or double pointed needles, for cuffs.
Optional: 4 mm / US 6 double pointed needles for sleeves.

Gauge: Sample uses gauge of 20 sts & 26 rows to 10 cm / 4 inches in stitch pattern. Due to the construction of this garment, gauge is important. The width of the body is worked using measurements, but the length of the body and the sleeves are defined by the stitch and row gauge.

Size: XS-S-M-L-XL-2XL, to fit bust of 74-84-94-104-114-124 cm / 29-33-37-41-45-49 inches.
