Acute Triangle is a quirky triangular scarf that can be extended to any size, wrapped round and round for warmth, or left to dangle elegantly over the shoulders.

The ‘half-garter’ or garter ridges create an interesting depth to the texture, and create a fun way to use with 2 coordinating yarns.

Designed with fingering yarn to worsted weight in mind, and adaptable to any yardage.

It’s ideal for 2 complementary colours, contrasting textures, for pairing a variegated with a solid, or knitting a gradient yarn from both ends.

Knitting By The Seat Of Your Pants 2 is a collection of 5 mostly garter projects in a variety of shapes, focussing on simple yet interesting 4 row constructions, which are easily memorised so you can knit on the bus or the train, or while chatting at knit night, without needing to carry the pattern around with you all the time.

Each of these patterns can be worked entirely from the written pattern, or from the chart with some notes.

Gauge is not critical with this project. This page lists 4mm needles, which is what the sample used, but please adjust your needle size to suit your own yarn.

My notes can be found here.
