• Yarn: The Fibre Company Canopy Worsted (50% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool, 20% viscose bamboo; 200 yds/ 100gm skein): laguna, 1 skein.
• Gauge: 17 sts and 30 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in Spiral Rib pattern before blocking.
• Needles: 1 - 16” (40 cm) US 8 (5 mm) circs and set dpns, or size to obtain gauge.
• Notions: Stitch marker (m), tapestry needle.
• Size: 15.25” brim circ, unstretched, 9.5” height. Due to the stretchy nature of the stitch pattern, the hat is designed to fit a 19-22” head circ.
• Necessary Skills: Knitting in the round, purling, decreasing.
