Adelphi Mittens sport a striking geometric cable, while the overall design is intentionally minimalist and modern. The repeats of the cable pattern and a simple rib stitch offer a combination of interest and a relaxed flow to both experienced and new knitters. The open fingers and thumb are essential for this digital age. Fingering weight yarns with good stitch definition will make the cable look best.

Mittens are worked in the round, from the bottom up. The mittens can be worked using a set of DPNs, or using circular needles for magic loop, whatever is your favorite method.

The pattern includes both written instructions and a chart for the cable section. As a bonus, it also includes (optional) instructions how to knit two items at the same time using a circular needle.

The pattern is for women’s S/M.
