ADELPHIA
No matter the time of the year or where you’re going, there’s always a reason to bring your knitting! For excursions, for knitting in a café or to the beach. To do it in style, it’s even more exciting to carry your yarn and your project in a project bag you made yourself - a knitted bag for your knitting! Adelphia is a quick and fun knit, and the sewing takes only an evening to complete so you can have your bag finished in no time. It fits at least 4-5 skeins of yarn, so there’s plenty of room for your project. It’s also an excellent project if you’re new to short-row knitting.

GENERAL
Adelphia is a bag made up of two rectangular knitted panels. These are knit sideways from chart using short-rows. Inside it is an iron-on interfacing and a cotton lining, easily sewn on a sewing machine. The bag is closed with a zipper. The pattern includes all steps and has links to good resources on how to make lined zipper bags with boxed corners.

SIZE
Approximately 35 cm wide x 29 cm high in finished shape. Knitted panels measure about 38 cm wide x 33 cm high after blocking, using 3.5 mm needles.
