I wanted a vintage looking, easy going sock, with a little bit of colourwork. I wanted a sock, that could easily fit into the log cabins of the 1940’s and 50’s. Something functional, that does the job. I wanted a bit of design to go along with it, but nothing that would overshadow the sleek elegance of a simple ribbed sock. Just easy enough to be knitted while watching TV, or after a day of skiing, but still interesting enough not to bore you to tears.
