Errata Note for Book Only

Adrift ~ is a nautical inspired cardigan that features a chevron lace stitch which in turn creates a flattering scalloped edge.*

Nautical fashion is still considered today as timeless symbols of escape to distant shores and ‘Adrift’ is no exception, a perfect lightweight cardigan to go over your doll’s favorite tee shirt, yet warm enough for those spring/summer sea breezes.

Pattern Features:
The easy to follow written chevron stitch pattern is featured on the lower portion of cardigan and sleeves, along with contrasting stripes that can be omitted if preferred.
Adrift also features a classic ribbed crew neck, created from picked up stitches and set in full sleeves that have a slight bell shape on the bottom, therefore not fitted.

Designer’s Note:
Worked flat: back and forth in rows ~ my preferred knitting technique using my bamboo straights

Designed to fit:
American Girl Dolls
& 18” Gotz Dolls like Emily that shares the same body type

Construction: Worked from the bottom up in one piece to armholes, including button bands, then each section is worked individually.

Skill Level:
Beginner - Easy: Project using basic stitches, repetitive stitch patterns, simple color changes, and simple shaping and finishing.
