Pattern Description from One-Skein Wonders: 101 Yarn-Shop Favorites: “The hand-knitted sock craze is not over, and with good reason! Socks are realtively quick to knit, and there are great yarns like this one from Cherry Tree Hill that are made especially for this purpose. If you’ve never worn hand-knitted socks before, it’s time to start.”

Measurements:

  • Child: 3” (7.5 cm) from top of cuff to top of heel, 6” (15 cm) from back of heel to end of toe
  • Medium Adult: 6” (15 cm) from top of cuff to top of heel, 8” (20.5 cm) from back of heel to end of toe
  • Large Adult: 7” (18 cm) from top of cuff to top of heel, 9” (23 cm) from back of heel to end of toe

Yarn: Cherry Tree Hill Supersock 100% merino wool, 4 oz (113 g)/420 yds (384 m), Winterberry

Needles: Set of US 3 (3.25 mm) double-point needles or size you need to obtain correct gauge

Other Supplies: Scrap yarn, tapestry needle
