Who doesn’t love a top down, seamless raglan sweater knit? I designed this sweater after I designed the Simple Raglan Sweater knitting pattern. I wanted a simple, raglan sweater that includes cables. Cables add a lot to a knitting project!

And who doesn’t love a knitting pattern that comes in many sizes? This Simple Raglan Cable Sweater is a easy and fun Raglan sweater knit. This is knit from the top down and is completely seamless. You will not need to sew the pieces of the sweater together when you are finished.

This cable sweater was designed to match the Simple Cable hat. You can purchase these two patterns together in an ebook:

There are 2 different lengths for this sweater, a short version and a long version. The long version would be your normal length of a sweater.

Plus, this sweater comes in sizes XS to Adult 4XL.

Sizes: (Chest circumference)
XS:32” (81 cm)
S:34” (86.5 cm)
SM:36” (91.5 cm)

Needles: You will need circular needles to work this sweater. You may want to start with 16” (40 cm) needles to start the adult sweater. You will then want to switch to 24” (60 cm) as you work. You can use 4 dpns to work the sleeves. You can also use magic loop or two small circular needles. I have included these video tutorials in this pattern.
