The Adventuresome pullover was designed as an Advent KAL to use your 20g fingering weight advent calendar minis, day by day, as you open them – hence the name… you don’t know what’s next! You can use whatever fingering weight yarn you have or use a mini calendar! This round-neck, raglan-sleeved pullover needs no finishing aside from weaving ends - and boy, there’s gonna be some ends to be woven.

Finished Size:
Chest 32(36, 40, 44, 48, 52) inches, sleeve circumference 12.75(13.75, 14.5, 16.25, 17, 17.75) inches, length 14(14.5, 15, 16, 16.5, 17)”

Yarn: The sample uses a 20g mini Advent Swap put together by my friend. Each mini is about 80 yards. I didn’t need nearly that much; you will need between 850-2000 yards fingering, depending on your size and how long the sleeves will be, and how long you want to make the body. My short-sleeved 44” bust pullover used 255g, approximately 1020 yards. Make sure all the yarns are similar in content and care (i.e. all wool and wool blends, all superwash or all non-superwash).

Needles:
US #5/3.75mm circular needle, 32 inches or longer (larger sizes may prefer a longer needle).
Set of US #5/3.75mm double pointed needles or preferred method for small circumference knitting in the round.
Or size to make gauge. Every knitter is different! Knit a swatch and block it!

Gauge: 20 stitches/28 rows per 4” in stockinette stitch, worked in the round.
