This cosy cabled cape is designed by Judy Furlong. This design would add the perfect touch of retro glamour to any outfit.

To Fit Bust: 86 (91-96, 101-106, 111-118, 123-128) cm / 34 (36-38, 40-42, 44-46, 48- 50)“

Garment Measurements:

Bust: 139 (145, 161, 178, 194) cm / 55 (57, 63, 70, 77)”
Hem Circumference: 154 (158, 172, 188, 202) cm / 61(62, 68, 74, 80)“
Back Length (excluding collar): 54 (54, 54, 64, 64) cm / 21 (21, 21, 25, 25)”

Yarn:

Blacker Classic Aran (British wool with Blue-Faced Leicester; 70 m / 76 yds per 50g)
Olive (green); 16 (17, 19, 24, 26) balls

Gauge:

20 sts x 21 rows = 10 cm / 4” in main garment stitches;

14 sts x 21 rows = 10 cm / 4” in stocking stitch

Always use a needle which results in the correct size after blocking.

Needles:

6 mm (US 10) - straight knitting needles
6 mm (US 10) - 40 cm / 16” circular knitting needle for collar (or set of double pointed needles)

Notions:

cable needle, stitch markers, stitch holder, row counter, darning needle

Notes:

This garment is knitted flat and seamed. Once assembled, the collar is picked up and knitted in the round.
