Knitting pattern for Advanced Knitters

Standing Turtles measure about 22 cm (8.7 inch. All pieces of the toys are knitted flat. Turtle shell is removable.

Pattern requires knowledge of knitting basics such as K, P, K2tog, K3tog, YO, M1 and simple finishing techniques.

MATERIALS:
Straight needles size US 2 ½ (3mm)
Yarn DK/Light Worsted (8 ply) (300m/100 g): in green, dark green, pink, dark pink, white, red, black.
Tapestry needle
Polyester stuffing

GAUGE: not important if you use the same weight yarn both for turtle and shell.
