INTRODUCTION
This cowl is constructed in one piece like a triangle shawl. You will begin by working flat from the top down. Section 1 is worked flat and the directions are both written and charted. Sections 2 & 3 are worked in the round and the directions are written. The fit of this cowl is like an infinity scarf. The back of the cowl is narrow, and the front of the cowl is elongated. This makes it a very comfortable fit if you are wearing a coat. There is not much bulk at the back. The elongated front makes it a very comfortable accessory to wear all day.

If you would like to modify this pattern here are a few tips. If you want the neckline to be wider you can do additional repeats of section 1. This will make the neckline wider before you join in the round. To make it longer or shorter simply do more or less repeats of the pattern.
