Each square should measure 2.4” by 2.4” (6 by 6 cm). From the book: “Four blocks are joined into a rectangle. Because the blocks are rotated with respect to one another, the decrease lines (and garter ridges) radiate out from the center point where the four blocks meet.

The color pattern in the book was chosen to grade from light to dark colors, but leftover yarns could be used.
