I really enjoy the simplicity of the Afterthought Heel, it looks good, fits well, & I am a big fan of contrasting colors for Cuffs, Heels & Toes.

So when my Beautiful Sister-in-Law became addicted to Knitting Socks, thanks to me ( sorry Sis ), I created a simplistic way to teach her how to construct the Afterthought Heel, complete with pictures.

She lives 12 hours from me, which is too far, yet she was able to understand & construct her first Afterthought Heel from these simplistic instructions……& I thought they might be helpful to some others out there too who like things kept simple, like me!
