Relive the magic of Narnia with this lusciously cabled hat and mitt set designed by Katy Carroll especially for Little Skein.

The Age of Winter mitts (and hat) recall the candle flame of the old-fashioned lamppost where young Lucy Pevensie first encounters the faun, Mr. Tumnus, in the land of Narnia. Despite the bitter chill, the lamppost burns without fuel through day and night, providing illumination in the endless winter.

The mitt’s lantern flame motif is composed of intertwining cables that look far more complex than they are to knit, making this a beautiful gift for a loved one or for yourself.
