If you would like to make an online donation to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer, it can be made HERE.

Beloved Canadian singer/songwriter Gord Downie made all of us Tragically Hip fans teary with his farewell concert tour. Many of us noticed his scarf made of two socks, worn “to keep his instrument warm”. This is my crochet version of his wonderful accessory.

Thank you, Gord. You could never disappoint us.

The scarf is made from toe to toe with very little seaming and joining. A buttonhole is added directly to one toe and a button sewn to the other toe.

If you have any questions about the pattern, please message me on Ravelry or leave a query in the comments.

A knitted version, In Gord We Trust, was designed by Kate Atherley and is available in Knitty, Deep Fall 2016
