I was looking for a gifty quick set for christmas gifts and this is what I came up with - I bought a huge lot of rowan chunky yarn in ebay and wanted to use it. The hat is ribbed and super cute “skull-y” style with a matching nubby skinny scarf (I have been informed that skinny scarves are all the rage - I am out of the loop I guess.) the set can be made with three skeins - I did the hat first and then just finished out the yarn for the scarf. Great patterns for showing of a nicely patterned or colored yarn. I can sit down and make the set in an evening -fast fast!
