The shawl is knitted with a simple intarsia technique, where you have a background, knitted with Højlandsuld and add an extra strand in the different colored squares (Silk mohair), so these squares are knitted with two strands.

Supplies:

200 g Highland wool.
Approx. 30 g silk mohair.
Many different small remains of yarn have been used for the colored squares.
You can of course use more or fewer colors and you can use other yarn types, as long as you choose relatively thin yarn (running length of approx. 800 m per 100 g).

The shawl is knitted on needle 3.5 mm.

Tension: Stockinet knitting on needle 3.5 mm with Highland wool: 19 stitches x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
