Maybe a far away friend would appreciate some hand knit mittens! Or maybe your yarn is from a far away place. These mittens have flown over 9000 miles! Saskia, of Ovis et Cetera, sent me her new yarn to design a pair of colourwork mittens for display at her market booth. The original pair is knit with her BFL Single Ply yarn in Pine & Natural. It is luscious and so soft! A real treat to work with if you get the chance! The finished mittens made the journey back to Germany from Canada. It gave me such a thrill! Too literal with the name? Maybe.
