Airbrush is a triangular shawl with an asymmetric shape, created with short rows, a simple but beautiful lace pattern and an i-cord edging. One side is longer than the other and this allows you to wear the shawl in different ways. I love to wear mine wrapped around my neck several times like a cowl.

Knit it in one color of lace yarn if you want a featherlight and elegant shawl or play with colors in fingering/sport yarn if you want a warm and cozy one. Why not use your leftovers or that precious skein of lace yarn you have saved for something special.

The pattern contains instructions, both written and charted, for three different versions:
Small size (165 x 45 cm) knitted in stockinette with about 50 grams lace yarn, shown in Malabrigo Lace Yarn in color Sealed Wax
Large size (200 x 50 cm) knitted in stockinette with about 70 grams lace yarn, shown in Malabrigo Lace Yarn in color Pearl
Small size (180 x 75 cm) knitted in garter with about 150 grams fingering/sport yarn, shown in Kauni Wool 8/2 Effektgarn
