I love September. It’s no longer summer, but not yet autumn. The nature is golden, preparing for the winter rest, the sky is pale blue and the wind is often soft and warm. But the evenings get colder and darker and you will surely need a bit of warmth around your neck and shoulders.
September is a light and airy shawl, fun to knit and fun to wear. It is made with stripes in five colors and has an easy eyelet border and fringes.

You will need about 550 meters/600 yards (160-170 grams) of fingering weight yarn in five colors, the sample is knitted with yarn from my stash, mostly madelinetosh Tosh Sock, 100 g/395 yards (361 meters). Finished measurements: 170 cm wide and 45 cm deep (not including fringes).

Color A 45 g Weathered Frame
