Airflow is a seamless open-front cardigan knit from the top down.
The design uses the contiguous method of shaping set-in sleeves developed by Susie M.

Sizes
XS (S, M)L, XL, XXL.
To fit bust size: 73.5 (83.5, 94)104, 114, 124.5 cm / 29 (33, 37)41, 45, 49 inches.
The cardigan is designed to be form fitting in the back and worn open in the front. Choose a size based on the actual finished measurement at underarm (see schematic on page 3), which should be 5-10 cm / 2-4” less than your actual bust. If your back is broad relative to your total bust circumference, consider going up a size so the garment is not too tight across the back.
Sample shown in size M on 93 cm / 37” bust.

Yarn
2 (3, 3)3, 3, 4 skeins of Colour Adventures Merino Light (100% merino; 116g / 440 yards), or approx 730 (840, 925)1025, 1125, 1235 m / 800 (920, 1010)1120, 1230, 1350 y.
Other recommended yarns: Madelinetosh TOSH Merino Light, or any fingering weight yarn, which gives you the correct gauge. Be careful with superwash yarns as they have a tendency to grow a lot in washing.

Needles
3.75 mm / US #5 needles, or size needed for gauge - 60 cm / 24” circular and dpns.
3.5 mm / US #4 needles, or one size smaller than gauge needles - 60 cm / 24” circular and dpns.

Other
interlocking stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving, stitch holders / scrap yarn.

Gauge
24 sts and 32 rows over 10 cm / 4” in St st worked flat with larger needles after wet blocking.
Take time to save time - check your gauge. If necessary, adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge. Accurate stitch gauge and row gauge are crucial for this pattern as any differences may result in the cardigan not fitting as intended.
