Airy Lace Scarf

August 2013
Lace ?
23 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches
in garter and eyelet patt, after blocking
US 6 - 4.0 mm
440 yards (402 m)
About 78" (198 cm) long and 13" (33 cm) wide in center, after blocking.

To create a light and airy scarf that won’t fall off the shoulders, Angela Tong worked a double layer of garter stitch to create a channel closure at the end of one of the tails. Slip the pointed end through the channel and pull on it to adjust the fit - wear is loosely with ends dangling for just a bit of warmth; wrap it more tightly for greater insulation.
