Aisie is a simple, stockinette vest with tailored details. The hemline, armhole ribbing, and buttonbands are worked in a modified twisted rib that adds interesting texture. Waist shaping creates a feminine silhouette while positive ease keeps the vest comfy. Short rows help shape the shoulders. The vest is worked flat and seamed for stability.

Aisie is a perfect first garment for the advanced beginner while also being a quick and easy knit for the more experienced knitter, and the finished garment will be a great staple in any wardrobe!

Aisie is Old French for “at ease or at leisure”.
