Akiko is the Fifth of a six shawl pattern collection for The Crochet Shawl Club a bi monthly crochet subscription for lovers of shawls and hand-dyed yarns.

A triangle shaped shawl, worked in two pieces and two colours, using treble stitch rows and granny stripe rows to show off the yarns. The sections are worked from outer corner in, increasing as you go to form the half triangle, the two triangle pieces are then joined to create a centre spine.


Yarn weight :: Light Fingering / 4 ply
Gauge :: 19 stitches and 10 rows in treble crochet worked flat to measure 10 cm/ 4” (after blocking note that pre blocked size will be much smaller) using 3.5mm /US size E/4 hook (or size needed to achieve gauge)
Hook size :: 3.5mm/US E (or size needed to achieve gauge).
Yardage :: 425m
