Akimbo is a triangular shawl, starting at the neck edge with easy garter stitch and finishing with a graphic chevron pattern. The chevron section creates a scalloped border with crisp edges while a contrasting color adds a burst of visual interest. Written row by row instructions are provided in this pattern as well as a chart for the chevron colorwork section.

Finished Measurements: 18″ / 46cm from cast on, along center stitch, to bind off. 50″ / 127cm wingspan, along edge stitches. Measurements taken after blocking.

Yardage Requirements: MC - about 275 yds, CC - about 160 yds

ERRATA: In Row 5 of the chart, the stitch just to the right of the center stitch should be “M1R”, instead of “M1L”.
