Akna's Caponcho
I designed a warm capelet/poncho with a touch of folklore but with a contemporary feel.
Wear this colourful caponcho whenever you want to feel like a Nordic Goddess.
Materials:
DROPS Andes Garnstudio, Super Bulky (5-6 wpi) 65% Wool, 35% Alpaca – plied
96 meters (105 yards) per 100 gram ball (3.5 oz)
Three sizes – (small) medium (large) - you will need, approximately:
light grey 9020 – (180) 190 (225) meters
medium grey 8465 –(150) 160 (195) meters
red 3946 – (135) 145 (160) meters
powder pink 3145 – (55) 70 (105) meters
you will need (quantity per units of 100 grams ball Andes DROPS):
Medium grey= small medium large : 2
red= small medium large : 2
powder pink= small medium large : 2
light grey= small medium : 2 / large : 3
This garment should be worn with positive ease. In order for it to fit comfortably it is worked at a relatively loose gauge.
If you would like to create a smaller version (XS) follow the small instructions and use one size smaller needles and/or thinner yarn. For a bigger version (XL) follow the large instructions and use one size bigger needles and/or thicker yarn.
