I wanted to play with a new garter-stitch shape
before I had to commit to a ton of stitches, so this
is just an unusual little cloth. “Alated” means,
“with wings,” and I would have just named it
“cloth with wings,” but that is both super-boring
and reminds me of commercials for feminine
hygiene products.
