The backstory:
Here in the Pacific NW, autumn has been waxing and waning in a most delightful way. Deceptively sunny days pair with ever more chilly nights (and mornings).

While making coffee in the early a.m. (still dark outside) I noticed I was shivering. Going from room-to-room in this old house, I realized I needed some “applied science” if I was going to make it through the season (but there’s nothing that says functional can’t be Pretty…)

This smaller-scaled cresent-shaped shawl works as a shoulder warmer or neckerchief and is a great on-the-go small project.

Create some fun (or dramatic) combinations to paint your shawl (handspuns? yes!)

COLORS USED
Bare Naked Wool: Cocoa & Oatmeal

Bugga!: Northern Purple Gold Beetle
The Wool Dispensary: Aerial Ballet (pink)

Jamieson’s: Steel & Daffodil

The yardage should read in total approx 315 yds. 160 of colour A for the border, 90 yds for the stripes and 65 yds for colour B.
