Alcyone is the brightest star system in the Pleiades cluster. The rich yellow of this Koigu creates very sunny socks with a pattern that combines mock cables with eyelets.

Socks are constructed from the top down with a twisted rib cuff and flap heel.

This pattern was designed for and introduced at the Stitches and Scones Summer Sock Retreat in July 2010.
