Alder – a beautiful top worked in Flax Lace – conjures images of first blooms of spring that pop up throughout our gardens. The understated body reminds us of tiny violets popping up across grassy lawns. It is balanced out by the beautiful, botanically inspired lace hem. You won’t be able to resist wandering along the lakeside and picking wildflowers while wearing this airy linen top.

This tank is worked flat in two pieces. First, the hem is worked from the top down. Then the main body is worked upward from the beginning-chain edge of the hem.
