Size: 16¼ (17½, 18¾, 19¾)“ 41 (44, 47, 50) cm/18¾ (20, 21½, 22¾)” 48 (51, 54, 58) cm at the brim/widest circumference. To Fit: 20½ (22, 23½, 24¾)” head circumference. For a slouchier fit, go up one size from your normal size (i.e., if you would normally knit the 22” head circumference size, knit the 23½” head circumference size). The largest size (24¾”) will not have a slouchy version. Sample in size 23½” (pink).

Skills: Cables, short rows, provisional CO, Kitchener st, picking up sts.

Notes on construction: This hat is worked flat from side to side. The crown is shaped with successive short rows. The sides of the hat are then worked together with Kitchener st. Sts are picked up along the brim and worked top-down for a small band. For a slouchier hat, knit one size up. For an even slouchier hat, work extra entire rows in between short row sets.
