Alex

Meet Alex, one of the loves of my life!
He is named for scientist, Alexander Graham Bell, and for my Uncle Alex, an extraordinary animal caregiver throughout his years.

Alex is all boy – rough and tumble, into everything, and such a joy to have around. My new cowl is named after him.
There are two pattern versions, the moebius and infinity cowl; each one is fast and fun to knit.

It is approximately 4” deep x 68” in circumference.
Gauge: 3 sts./in.

Version One
The Moebius has a 180-degree twist, which is created at the special cast on, and join. Rounds of knitting grow from the center of the work to the outsides.

Materials
One skein of Universal Yarns, Classic Shades Frenzy. 158 yards (100 grams) Chunky Weight yarn.
Size 11 circular needles 47” inch length. Stitch marker. Yarn needle.

Version Two
The Infinity Cowl is knit in the round with no twist. It is knit from cast on edge to bound off edge.

Materials
One skein of Universal Yarns, Classic Shades Frenzy. 158 yards (100 grams) Chunky Weight yarn.
Size 11 circular needles 24” or 32” inch length. Stitch marker. Yarn needle.

Any chunky weight yarn will work with this pattern, such as Malabrigo Mecha. Enjoy!
