The design is great for a beginner as it uses simple knit & purl with a touch of slip stitch for effect. The mock cable detail is worked on a background of reverse stocking stitch. You could easily make this scarf more generous in size by increasing the length

Needles: 6.00 mm (or size required to achieve stated tension)

Tension: 16 sts and 21 rows to 10 cm measured over stocking stitch using 6.00 mm needles

Also needed: Darning needle for sewing in ends and creating mock cable

Finished measurements: 21 cm wide x 98 cm long
