A lovely textured hexagon motif which can be used in a many ways. Join a few together to make a cushion, a few more for a small blanket or go mad & make enough for a bed size throw.
I made my sample with 32 full hexagons and 5 halves, this made a blanket size of 120cm x 85cm.
Tension is not vital for this motif nor is the yarn. Use any yarn and the appropriate hook size to give smaller or larger motifs - whatever your choice.
I used the cute mini 10g balls of Catona for the centres (which with my tension I find works up closer to DK) and Stylecraft Special Double Knit for the hexagons & border.
One 10g ball will make a centre and I used 5 x 100g of the SSDK for the hexagons and border.
