If you are in search of a cute extraterrestrial partner in hike, look no further! Alice is exactly what you’re after. She came from a distant planet that lacks the kind of magnificent nature we people enjoy on Earth.

Alice loooves the crisp thin air at the tops of the many mountains our planet can offer. To get as high as possible, she would sometimes climb onto the trees. What a view she must have!

Alice is made of soft cotton or acrylic superfine yarn and can easily fit inside your pocket on your next hike! It’s only 9 cm or 3 1/2 inches tall after all.

The doll will stay cute if you want to make it with a bigger hook (I use 2.5mm) and thicker yarn.

Most alien sightseeing actually mention grey aliens, but, after trying out light grey cotton yarn, I was not very impressed with the result, so I decided to try pink cotton and lilac acrylic yarns next.

Unfortunately, I still can’t find superfine yarn in lime green colour and I do not have enough to make any more… So green alien is a rare sight around here.

I use 3/4 of a colourful and 1/4 of a black mini yarn skeins.

One more thing, the toy in the pattern includes some materials that have sharp edges. If you are making it for a small child, I suggest leaving the wire and plastic sheet for the bottom of the toy out.

Please share your results with me, I’d love to see them :)
