Pattern information

Alishar is an easy fitting raglan pullover with folded hems and stranded color patterns from traditional Turkish sock designs. Alishar is worked circularly in three sections, body and two sleeves, which are joined at the underarm and worked with raglan decreases to the neckline. You may choose to make a steek for the neckline shaping, or work back and forth.

Yarn requirements:

MC Jo Sharp DK Wool (325 Mulberry): 882-1176 m

CC Knit One Crochet Too Parfait Taupe: 600-1000 m

Cascade 220 color #8407 is a very close match for the Parfait color Taupe.

Yarn note: although the two yarns used are nominally different weights, they have roughly the same yardage:weight ratio. Suitable substitutions include Plymouth Galway, Cascade 220, Elann’s Peruvian Highland Wool, or any other smooth classic worsted weight yarn at about 100 m / 50 g.
